Jigsaw Hub

Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms apply when you use the Jigsaw Hub app (“the app”), which is developed and operated by Matthew Rigby, a sole trader based in Australia (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Using the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial enjoyment, on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If anything in these terms conflicts with it, Apple's agreement applies to the extent of the conflict.

2. Puzzle packs

Some puzzles are free. Others are grouped into puzzle packs that you can buy with a one-time in-app purchase. A purchased pack is yours to play for as long as the app is available. You can restore it on your other devices signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account by tapping Restore purchases.

All packs are also included with Jigsaw Hub Plus while your subscription is active. Packs you buy individually stay yours even if you never subscribe, or cancel later.

4. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refund requests are handled by them under their policies:

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you (see section 10).

5. Coins, hints and other in-game items

Coins, hints, streak freezes, XP and levels are earned by playing. They are virtual items for use in the app only. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or transferred, and aren't personal property. They're stored on your device, so they can be lost if you delete the app or lose your device. We may rebalance how these items are earned and used to keep the game fair and fun.

6. Your own photos

When you turn your own photo into a puzzle, it stays on your device (see our Privacy Policy). Only use photos you have the right to use. You're responsible for the photos you choose.

7. Our content

The puzzle images and artwork in the app are either public-domain works, used under licence, or original works made for Jigsaw Hub. The app's design, puzzle packs, text and code belong to us or our licensors. You may enjoy them in the app, but you may not copy, extract, sell or redistribute them.

8. Fair use

Please don't reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the app or its purchase systems, use it to break any law, or try to get paid content without paying for it.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving the app, so features and content may change over time. We aim to keep the app available, but we can't promise it will always be available or work without interruption on every device. If we ever need to discontinue the app, we'll give reasonable notice where we can and act in line with the consumer law that applies to you.

10. Australian Consumer Law and your rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't lawfully be excluded or limited. The same applies to equivalent consumer protections where you live.

11. Limitation of liability

Except for the rights described in section 10, and to the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is”. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again, or to refunding what you paid for the relevant purchase. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss.

12. Apple-specific terms

If you use the app on an Apple device: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and isn't responsible for any product claims or third-party intellectual-property claims relating to it. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) to the extent required by its policies; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. You may also have the benefit of mandatory consumer laws where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the app or its store listing. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
